I totally agree Kujien, kids nowadays wouldnt really give a shit, but can you imagine having the honour of meeting Carl Sagan. But I suppose its a bit late for me to say that now. RIP carl.

i totally understand what you’re saying, if i were in such a classroom i would stand up and defend him, this guy is my hero. this man has inspired me to learn and make a career of the nature of the cosmos, i have yet to decide what discipline, but it will definitely be astro/theoretical physics, particle physics etc… it would have been the highest honour to have sat in that classroom the day he gave that lesson, i would have decided to be a cosmologist or astronaut that day =)

You should be open to panpsychism and quantum consciousness, not only in humans, but all atomic and subatomic ‘matter’.

Humans will not discover any more than humans are capable of; therefore, IMO, it will take many millions of years after war and profit rule the earth, before mankind, humans, will ever have time to look within, as well as without.

Science as we know it, stripped of all ‘mysteries’ is relatively new, and ridiculous at best. I know from experience things that won’t be believed

Geneticist, and many many other sciences that I wish to learn about. Well I guess I still have 2 years to figure that out but I will definitely become a scientist and hopefully help this world or at least add knowledge to the ever expanding knowledge of our humble world

Wow the classroom …
Wow the classroom has changed since back then nowadays if somebody like Carl came into our class there would be people yelling and saying “mothafucka who gives a about this stupid shit, and walk out of the class”. Of course I would have not been one of them I could only dream to be taught by Carl. Hopefully in that class he inspired some future cosmologists are other scientists. Like I have been inspired by him and other things to become either a PaleoAnthropologist/Biologist/Paleontologist
